New Orleans Fizz Cocktail
Ingredients
1 1/2 ounces gin
2 ounces cream
1 1/4 ounces simple syrup
1/2 ounce freshly squeezed lemon juice
1/2 ounce freshly squeezed lime juice
1 large egg
white
(must
be a fresh egg and if lightly cooked better)
2 dashes fleurs d'orange (orange flower water)
1 to 2 ounces club soda, to taste
Method
1. In a cocktail shaker, pour the gin, cream, simple syrup, lemon and lime juices, egg white, and fleurs d'orange.
2 Dry shake without ice.
3. Fill the shaker with ice. Shake vigorously again (more than normal to ensure the egg and cream are well mixed and the drink is silky).
4. Strain into a chilled highball glass.
5. Top with club soda.
6. Serve and enjoy.
